Black Hills Tempranillo 2019

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaKudos to Ross Wise for his perfect interpretation of tempranillo, at least BC-style, with his latest effort in 2019. The nose is packed with red fruit nuances, and the palate follows along led by its vibrant acidity, texturally soft tannin, and what would tempranillo be without a little bit of used oak. At 13.5 percent, it reveals all it can, without any interference from the weight and heat of excessive alcohol. The length is long, and the finish is silky with spicy, black licorice, sagebrush. Ready to drink with grilled lamb, roasted chicken or rich, soft cheeses.Tasted: 09 September 2021Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
