Mayhem Riesling 2020
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaTwo vineyards are listed for this label: Summerland's Campagnaro Vineyard, and Vernon's Garagan Vineyard. The wine is whole cluster pressed and partially native fermented in a mix of puncheons, neutral barriques, and stainless steel. Fermentation was halted at 6.4 g/L, leaving the wine essentially dry. It remained five to six months on its lees before bottling. Juicy but a little less bright than last year, think more yellow fruit than crisp green apple. The mid-palate is soft and round with pear and sweet lime.
