Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSourced from Fernandes Vineyard on the Osoyoos East Bench, this shows off cabernet sauvignon's savoury side without being shy on fruit. It's a firmly structured, medium-full bodied cabernet that's led by graphite, dried mint, and sagebrush. But there's also bright cassis, and blackberry, with an aromatic lift of purple florals. It's still youthful, concentrated, and tightly wound, and is just starting to open up.
