Moon Curser Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaGetting phenolic ripeness in your cabernet sauvignon at 49 degrees north is always a challenge. The vintage was warm, but you need more than heat; you need time to hang and ripen. The wine is bright and fresh on entry with peppery, red fruit, black olives with big, dry, grippy tannins and additional tart notes in the back end. This needs a rustic stew to smooth out the edges.Tasted: 21 November 2017Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
