Douro Valley, Northern Portugal, PortugalLBVs are bottled after 4-6 years to make them accessible upon release without the need for decades of bottle age. This is fairly developed, with elegant, dried black fruits intertwined with sweet spices and cedar. It's missing the fresh floral aromatics of the 2015 LBV, which would help to give this a notch more vibrancy.
