Laughing Stock Vineyards Pinot Noir +28/09 2018

Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe 2018 vintage brings some evolution to Laughing Stock's pinot noir program. Unlike previous vintages, this is predominantly sourced from Okanagan Falls, specifically Arterra's Thomas Ranch Vineyard. The winemaking is still true to Laughing Stock's hedonistic house style, but the partial use of whole cluster fermentation has added some stemmy complexity to complement the lush black fruits, with the oak also dialled back a notch. The palate is suave and almost glycerous, with supple tannins that will make this an easy pour for fans of ripe New World pinot noir.Tasted: 24 July 2020Tasted by: Prices: BC 36.99 winery online/direct Producer: Laughing Stock VineyardsDistributors: The Wine Syndicate
