Gold Hill Cabernet Franc 2014
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe nose is packed with stylish and intense cassis and blackcurrant fruit with floral underpadding and a hint of spice. On the palate, more juicy black raspberry, mocha lined with medium-full tannins and an earthy, ripe black cherry finish. There is freshness here despite a very mature palate, suggesting it might be best consumed through 2023. An excellent effort. Just a thought: bag the cheap artificial cork. It's noticeable.Tasted: 24 July 2020Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $34.99 | 750ml | winery direct, VQA wine shops |
