Mission Hill Reserve Pinot Noir 2018

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaA blend from estate vineyards in Naramata (35%), Lakeshore (32%),East Kelowna (29%), and West Kelowna (4%), this Reserve tier pinot spent 10 months in French oak prior to release. Ample green branchy notes from front through finish lead sour cherry, bitter raspberry, smoked cassis along a pinched, tighter palate. Tannins are tightly sticky and the finish is snappy and warming. Very much in youth, and with a lighter attempt, which is appreciated, but this remains very much a Bordeaux-drinkers' pinot noir, and best with grilled meats to match.Tasted: 01 May 2020Tasted by: Prices:
