Mission Hill Reserve Pinot Noir 2011
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSmells like pinot... yeah! Mission Hill has done a fine job evolving its pinot noir and the 2011 is a case in point. Fresh, spicy and rich with a dusting of dried herbs and earth it has both a fine silky texture and length with lively acidity to boot. The palate is a mix of black cherry fruit with just a hint of spice and tannin. Duck confit, salmon fishcakes and turkey will all work as a match. Good value.Tasted: 06 October 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $25.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
