Borsao Tres Picos Garnacha 2016

Campo de Borja, Aragon, SpainPotent raspberry, cherry, medicinal strawberry, leather, dusty stone fill this round, spicy old vine garnacha from Campo de Borja. Tres Picos is the top cuvée of Borsão, drawn from 30 to 65-year-old, head-pruned garnacha from the slopes of the extinct Moncayo volcano. Thick on the palate, with potent wood courtesy of 10 months in older French oak barrels, and stainless steel. This holds its sun-drenched alcohol (15 degrees) very well. Enjoy now, with grilled sausages or lamb.Tasted: 07 July 2019Tasted by: Prices: BC 25.99 BCLS AB 24.95 private wine shops Producer: Bodegas BorsaoDistributors: Empson Wines Canada
