Guado al Tasso Il Bruciato 2015
Bolgheri, Tuscany, ItalyIl Bruciato is not the second wine of Guado al Tasso but rather another label featuring cabernet sauvignon, merlot and syrah. In 2015 it has all the hallmarks of the warm vintage, i.e., richness, weight, slightly softer acidity and tannins, all of which suggest you can drink this much earlier. That said, it’s a terrific wine with all the hallmarks of Bolgheri with the savoury, menthol, Mediterranean garrigue and the Italian dryness that lets you focus on the black and blue fruit that persist long onto the palate. Balance has become a watchword at Bruciato adding to its charm.
