Guado al Tasso Il Bruciato 2004

Bolgheri, Tuscany, ItalyIl Bruciato is the baby brother of Guado al Tasso; the Antinori big gun grown on the Tuscan coast some 60 miles southwest of Florence, in an area known as the Maremma. The property extends from the amphitheatre foothills around the medieval village of Bolgheri down to the sea. Il Bruciato is a delicious, savoury, mini version of Guado at a fantastic price. The blend is 60 30 10 cabernet sauvignon merlot and syrah all wrapped up in a fragrant, plummy chocolate red wine with hint of the sea.Tasted: 16 May 2007Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
