Guado al Tasso Il Bruciato 2006
Bolgheri, Tuscany, ItalyThe baby brother of Guado al Tasso is all grown up in 2006. The wine is grown on the Tuscan coast some 60 miles southwest of Florence, in an area known as the Maremma. The '06 is sensational in the glass blending 60/30/10 of cabernet sauvignon merlot and syrah. The nose is fragrant with red berries and violets. The palate is awash in silky tannins and delicious savoury red fruit flavours flecked with spices and milk chocolate in the finish.
