Guado al Tasso Il Bruciato 2010
Bolgheri, Tuscany, ItalyThis Bolgheri red is 50/30/20 blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot and syrah with a dash of other grapes. It was a cooler year and while there was plenty of time to ripen you feel some of the coolness on the palate in terms acidity and aromatics. Look for floral notes mixed with red cherries and savoury mint. The attack is full but supple with smoky, spicy, earthy peppery cherry and garrigue flavours.
