Ex Nihilo Pinot Noir 2017

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaRetasted nine months along, and this Lake Country pinot noir is holding well. Wood is mellowing, further softening the downy soft cherry, raspberry, vanilla-scented fruit. Whole berry fermented, this was aged nine months in American and French oak, yielding a Sonoma-meets-Okanagan red. There's a soupiness to the palate that welcomes tightening with a chill, and a partnering with meatloaf or pork chops.Tasted: 23 July 2019Tasted by: Prices: BC 38.00 winery direct, private wine shops Producer: Ex Nihilo VineyardsDistributors: Icon Fine Wine and Spirits
