Ex Nihilo Pinot Noir 2016
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSoft and supple crimson cherry, raspberry and forest floor scents fill this full and plush pinot noir, kept fresh with fruit sourced from northern Okanagan's cooler Lake Country. This was whole berry fermented in stainless before nine months in French wood (20 percent new). Baking spices, leather, cola on the plush and round palate, one kept tidy at 13.4 percent, and warmly fleshed out with cinnamon. This reminds me of cooler climate California in a generous year.
