CedarCreek Riesling 2017

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe 2017 is a ‘Spatlese-white’ made from fully ripe riesling grapes, with the majority of fruit coming from clone 21B, Block 1 in their youthful Home Block vineyard, planted in 2013. Some nine percent is aged in oak for a bit of texture and weight. The residual sugar is a healthy 19.2 g/l. Expect an open floral, citrus nose. The attack is intense with a long showy bead of limey acidity tempered by the residual sugar. Intense, long, and mouthwatering, this is a bargain price high quality riesling you should snap up by the case. Oh, and it will age well for years. Thai curries, vegetarian dishes or a sunny patio all work here.Tasted: 25 July 2018Tasted by: Prices:
