Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis is a delicious drinking style riesling with 18 grams of residual sugar tempered by 10.8 grams of total acidity. The attack is fresh and lush with pineapple, pink grapefruit, and apricot, with a welcome streak of northern minerality. It is fermented and aged stainless steel with three months of ageing on lees. Enjoy now or cellar through 2030. Serve it with a spicy stir fried pork dish. 2022 began cool and wet, with significant precipitation in April/May and the latest bud break in the last ten years. July and August were hot, while September and October were unseasonably warm, extending our summer by several weeks. The result was wines low in alcohol but rich in flavour, and with perfect phenolic ripeness.
