Rioja Alavesa, Rioja, SpainDried cherry, subtle blackberry and fine smoke in this Reserva Rioja, showing wicking and wearing of a little age, but holding its youthful cherry core. Tannins are gritty but acidity swells, carrying this to the warming, salty finish.
