Rioja Alavesa, Rioja, SpainCherry jam, tobacco, barnyard, saddle leather, gamey. Dry, slightly tannic, rich entry. Spicy vanilla, cigar, meaty, cherry, leather flavours with a soy, peppery, finish. Quite warm but intense, needs 2-5 years to smooth out the tannins.
