Clos du Soleil Célestiale 2014

Keremeos, Similkameen Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAll five classic Bordeaux varieties are in the 2014 blend of Célestiale, Clos du Soleil’s earlier drinking red blend. All the Similkameen nuances are here: elegance, perfect acidity, and a stony mineral under-thread with soft tannins. The nose is fresh and bright with a mix of red and black aromas. The attack is similar with savoury, juicy red fruits dominating and a licorice spicy finish. This is designed for early drinking and while it is less complex than Estate Reserve it still needs two to four years to reach maturity. Good value.Tasted: 11 September 2017Tasted by: Prices:
