Keremeos, Similkameen Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAll five classic Bordeaux varieties are in the 2014 blend of Célestiale, Clos du Soleil’s earlier drinking red blend. All the Similkameen nuances are here: elegance, perfect acidity, and a stony mineral under-thread with soft tannins. The nose is fresh and bright with a mix of red and black aromas. The attack is similar with savoury, juicy red fruits dominating and a licorice spicy finish. This is designed for early drinking and while it is less complex than Estate Reserve it still needs two to four years to reach maturity.
