CedarCreek Pinot Gris 2016
British Columbia, CanadaGingerale and yellow apple marks the 2016 gris. It’s riper, and this year feels much spicier (with ginger heat). The sweetness, 8 g/l of residual sugar and 14 percent oak adds some fat layers to the fruit but it seems to a muddle that is not entirely cohesive with the orange-laced acidity and some dry tannins. Disappointing given the year.Tasted: 18 August 2017Tasted by: Treve Ring & Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $18.99 | 750ml | BCLS |
