CedarCreek Pinot Gris 2015
British Columbia, CanadaPinot gris from the upper CedarCreek vineyard is splashed with gewürztraminer and riesling in this soft wine, reflective of the ripe and warm 2015 vintage. This maintains a core of concentration and holds a fine elastic twang of acidity, though lacking quite a bit in comparison to the 2014. Yellow apple, pear and light honey rule the creamy palate, one plumped by 20 percent being fermented in oak and layered with a month-long ferment. Just off dry, this full bodied gris ends with some warming heat and a sweet/sour note.Tasted: 01 July 2016Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Treve RingPrices:BC | $17.79 | 750ml | BCLS |
