Tantalus Blanc de Noir 2013
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe inaugural release of their Blanc de Noir fizz is sourced from a single block of pinot noir planted in 1985. A pale rose petal pink, the wine pours with a persistent bead and mouth-filling mousse. Enticing aromas of sun-baked red apple, chalk, orchard blossom and almond biscotti lead to a creamy/crisp mouthfeel of refreshing white cherry, gooseberry and pink grapefruit. A wine for today, or to watch evolve over the coming years.Tasted: 27 July 2016Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Treve RingPrices:BC | $27.74 | 750ml | winery direct, restaurants |
