Quails' Gate Old Vines Foch Reserve 2013
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaNice to see the winemaking and style of this wine improving or at least keeping up with the price. The ‘reserva’ appears more reserve and a little less wild in 2013. There is still a meaty black fruit nose with flecks of espresso and chocolate but the fruit is riper and the finish a little more restrained with a little less smoky oak all appreciated here.
