Painted Rock Cabernet Franc 2013
Skaha Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFinally, a franc with some gravitas. Youthful and exuberant its sporting some savoury olive/crushed leaf notes mixed with cran-cherry red currant fruit. It’s only medium weight but with fairly rich tannins to yet disperse. Aromatic and round this will please a lot of palates now and even more in five years. If you must drink it grill a T-bone steak to tame the edges or wait five to seven years.Tasted: 20 April 2016Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $44.99 | 750ml | winery direct, private wine shops |
