Clos du Soleil Rosé 2014

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis bold and gusty cabernet sauvignon rosé pours a deep raspberry hue and opens with a rhubarb pie and candied strawberry nose. Off dry and fuller bodied, the ripe and juicy palate carries candied berries, ripe plum and wild raspberries. Quite concentrated, though crunchy rhubarb acidity keeps things fresh and tangy. Finishes with some heat; pair with a roast pork and cranberry sandwich or bacon and caramelized onion tart.Tasted: 05 August 2015Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
