Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaMade from 17 year old Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from the southern Okanagan, this deep watermelon pink wine stands out in a lineup. Bold summer sweetened berries and candy floss aromas lead to a juicy and bright cranberry and strawberry palate, with cherry branch and vanilla bean/raspberry jam on the finish. Gutsy style to match up to your chicken or salmon burgers. Tasted: 27 November 2014Tasted by: Prices:
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaI'm always suspect of cabernet sauvignon rosé. Was it made to improve the original cabernet or was it grown to be a rosé. Much like last year the latest Clos du Soleil is a pleasant mix of orange tinted cranberry/strawberry scented fruit, the attack is round and soft and, yes a bit sweet, but not too sweet. Try this with grilled pork or a plate of charcuterie.Tasted: 14 April 2014Tasted by: Prices:
