Stag's Hollow Tempranillo 2012
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaTempranillo is a moody grape here in British Columbia. In this case the nose is mix of earth and leather with hints of cherry and prunes. The attack is fresh and medium weight with some prominent acidity throughout almost gamay like. Half the fruit comes of the home vineyard the rest form Naramata, Osoyoos. There's 10 percent merlot in the blend. Not quite as temperate as tempranillo.
