Black Sage Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2012
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAfter the initial jarring of seeing Black Sage Vineyard ((TM)) all over the marketing and label, I popped the cork and was presented with a sage leaf, bramble, resin nose that carried through to the ripe, roughly hewn palate. Cedar staves, eucalypt, resin and sweet black cherry fruit end abruptly and a bit hot and sticky. Pour with hearty lamb or beef stews and crusty breads.Tasted: 05 March 2015Tasted by: Prices:BC | $24.00 | 750ml | private wine shops, winery direct |
