Black Hills Syrah 2012
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFragrant cool black cherry, poultry spice, licorice root, vanilla nose. The attack is fresh and elegant but skinny with light extract. Huge coffee, smoky oak, peppery, vanilla, resin, licorice and tobacco flavours with a pruny, cherry finish. Still youthful and tight but should be fine with another two years in bottle.
