Torres Celeste Crianza 2010

Ribera del Duero, Castilla-Leon, SpainFollowing on the delicious '09 the 2010 is equally fine. The style is modern, the attack fruit forward, with glossy, blackberry fruit with bits of black pepper, smoke and chocolate. The tannins are elegant and small grained suggesting you could drink this sooner than later but it should age gracefully. Put this in the modern tempranillo camp but ignore it at your peril. The vineyard sits at 895 metres above sea level where at Torres it is said you can almost touch the stars.Tasted: 15 July 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
