Salento, Puglia, ItalyTorcicoda is always a big wine. Look for an earthy, meaty, black cherry jam and ash nose. The palate is fresh and round, with medium firm tannins and just a hint of Mediterranean sweetness with blackberry, black cherry, smoky, vanilla, tobacco, coffee and liquorice flavours. Big and concentrated there is plenty of warmth in the finish. Not for the faint hearted.
