Poggio Salvi Rosso di Montalcino 2011

Montalcino, Siena, Tuscany, ItalySmoky ash, black cherry, peppery, earthy, gamey, resin and licorice aromas. Dry, round, elegant palate with tobacco, earthy, ash, prune plum, smoky, orange peel and licorice flavours. A touch lean on the finish but with fine balance and it is drinkable now. Solid value for Rosso. Try this with a mushroom dishes.Tasted: 17 July 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
