Frescobaldi Mormoreto Castello di Nipozzano 2011

Tuscany, ItalyA wonderful Mormoreto so floral and smoky with black olive, waxy, gamey aromas. The attack is ripe and juicy with firm youthful tannins. Cassis, black olive, peppery, blackberry, vanilla, licorice, dried herbs, coffee, tobacco and smoke flavours. Fine concentration and length with fresh acidity and a very aromatic nose. This is very youthful and quite an intense version that will need 5-7 years to come out. Fine potential here.Tasted: 23 July 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
