Frescobaldi Mormoreto Castello di Nipozzano 2006
Tuscany, ItalyFrescobaldi's nod to Bordeaux blends cabernet sauvignon, merlot and cabernet franc from the Castello di Nipozzano estate. Look for a peppery, cassis, tobacco, floral, garrigue nose with coffee, black cherry, green bean, graphite, black olive aromas. Rich, ripe, round, smooth palate with fine grained tannins but abundant level. Fresh palate with cassis, coffee, cedar, tobacco, black olive, blackberry, earthy, licorice, vanilla spice and carrot top flavours. Good structure and intensity will need 5-7 years aging.Tasted: 17 May 2010Tasted by: Stuart TobePrices:BC | $51.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
