Pirramimma Petit Verdot 2011

McLaren Vale, South Australia, AustraliaChocolate, vanilla, cedar, liquorice, black cherry jam, black olive, poultry spice and dried thyme aromas. Full, round, rich and warm with some grainy tannins. Peppery, black berry jam, coffee, chocolate, vanilla, savoury, floral, olive and tobacco flavours. Very ripe, chocolate-y style with a warm, gritty finish. A less varietal interpretation that requires a rich piece of beef to tame its rich, boisterous notes.Tasted: 23 May 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
