Signorello Padrone 2010

Napa Valley, California, United StatesThe best of the best at Signorello look for a rich cedar, vanilla and tobacco nose with a savoury compost, leather, blackberry, cassis and olive aromas. Rich, full, round, elegant, dry palate with light, grainy tannins. Smoky, peppery, leather, tobacco, cassis, black olive, light coffee, cherry and meat flavours. Much more understated style with good finesse and length but could use two to five years to soften up a bit. Best with grilled meats.Tasted: 14 December 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
