Signorello Padrone 2009
Napa Valley, California, United StatesBig black pepper, meaty, earthy saddle leather nose with tobacco, chocolate, black olive, cassis, blackberry and five spice aromas. The attack is full and smooth the palate elegant yet with plenty of tannin. Smoky herb, peppery, chocolate, vanilla, cassis jam flavours with Napa highlights of black cherry, cranberry, tobacco leaf, celery root flavours with a meaty, leather note. Good concentration and intensity but youthful tannins on the finish need 3-5 years to soften.Tasted: 02 February 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:AB | $150.00 | 750ml | private wine shops |
