Mitolo Serpico Cabernet Sauvignon 2010

McLaren Vale, South Australia, AustraliaTobacco, peppery, prune, cooked cassis nose with black olive tapenade, leafy, chocolate aromas. Full, round, fresh, sweet and tart palate with coffee, tobacco, meaty, resin, cassis jam, liquorice, tarry, vanilla flavours. The finish is warm and tart and the sweetness keeps coming. Serpico is made in the Amarone style with 30 percent of dried grapes (7 weeks and 3 days) to fill out the mid-palate. It's a style agreed but not one we love.Tasted: 27 November 2013Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
