Mitolo Serpico Cabernet Sauvignon 2008

McLaren Vale, South Australia, AustraliaSerpico is made in the Amarone style with 30 percent of dried grapes (7 weeks and 3 days) to fill out the mid-palate. Look for an intense, tarry, black cherry fruit nose and palate with peppery, meaty notes flecked with chocolate. As big and as dry as it is in the back end Serpico has a sense of refinement under all the power. Well made totally ripe cabernet sauvignon that manages to out do the vintage.Tasted: 18 October 2009Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
