Mission Hill Reserve Merlot 2009
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaMission Hill family estate reserve Merlot 2009 Beautiful dark sweet fruit vanilla nose, flecked with anise and wallop of plums. The attack is bright and packed with warm, spicy, chocolate fruit and fine length. The tannins are slippery and sleek. The finish is warm and glossy with blueberry and mocha undertones and toasted oak overtones. Impressive youthful style. Drink now with grilled meats or hold for the next five years. Reminds us a bit of Walla Walla. Well done.Tasted: 06 October 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:ON | $26.00 | 750ml | LCBO |
