Chester-Kidder Red Blend 2004
Columbia Valley, Washington, United StatesKudos to Long Shadows "home" winemaker Gilles Nicault for this smoky, cedar, tobacco, black olive, spicy, cherry jam, cassis scented red. Rich and dry with some grainy tannins and grip, it has fine black berry jam, cassis and coffee flavours flecked with orange peel, cedar, liquorice, spice and tobacco leaf. Good flavour intensity if a touch too warm on the finish. Ready to drink.Tasted: 11 July 2011Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $70.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - Mark Anthony Brands |
