Douro Valley, Northern Portugal, PortugalIntense inky, black cherry colour. Very spicy, gamey, licorice, spirity, black berry, rootsy, floral, mineral, peppery nose.; Rich, tannic, ripe, fiery and big yet has finesse with structure and acidity. Peppery, spicy, licorice, blackberry jam, black cherry, sweet fig and chocolate flavours with a bright fruit streak. Long, intense, sweet but balanced finish.
