Poet's Leap Riesling 2004
Columbia Valley, Washington, United StatesBig floral, rose petal, petrol, mineral nose with ripe peach and citrus. Rich, round, elegant style but soft with rose water, slate, petrol, lemon oil and nectarine flavours. Good intensity but a bit warm (alcoholic) with soft acidity on the finish. It's a fine start but we hope for brighter versions in the coming years.Tasted: 28 April 2006Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $39.99 | 750ml | speculative listing - Mark Anthony Brands |
