Batasiolo Barbera d'Alba 2003

Piedmont, ItalySmoky, mineral, black cherry, black licorice, meaty tobacco nose. Warm, round, soft, sweet fruit entry but quite high acidity. Big cherry, licorice, smoky coffee, mineral, iron, gamey earth flavours. Ripe but crisp, dry finish, will be good with full flavoured grilled meat or age for a few years.
