Shingle Peak Pinot Noir 2003

Marlborough, South Island, New ZealandOpen attractive strawberry/cherry spicy nose with a rootsy, barnyard and compost undercurrent. Soft and silky on entry with smooth textures and a 'warm' mid-palate but there is plenty of acidity in the finish. More cherry strawberry fruit flavours mixed with cola and a spicy rootsy aftertaste. Solid pinot at a fair price. Well done. Sold under screwcap.Tasted: 13 August 2004Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
