Penfolds Shiraz Kalimna Bin 28 1994
South Australia, AustraliaKalimna takes its name from a famous, old-vine shiraz vineyard in Barossa Valley but in fact the wine is a blend of fruit from the state of South Australia. Ripe aromas of plum, blackberry jam, licorice and toasted oak. Potent flavours led by blackberry and licorice with a touch of resin in the finish. The tannins are soft and ripe and there is no shortage of alcohol. A big wine at a big price.Tasted: 01 March 1997Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $31.00 | 750ml | Specialty |
