Van Westen Vineyards Vivre la Vie 2007
Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaOpen aromatic spicy, cedar, tobacco, meaty nose with bits of cherry, prune and floral aromas. Attractive round, dry, supple tannins but with fine acidity. More vanilla, chocolate, plum, cherry, cedar, tobacco and spicy coffee flavours. A bit warm and chunky with big tannins on the finish. Still a bit of a brute but with potential to improve over the next 2-5 years. Very good fruit and concentration.
