Van Westen Vineyards Vivre la Vie 2010
Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSpicy, compost, barnyard, saddle leather, cherry jam, mint, black olive and herb aromas. Dry, fresh, tight, somewhat tannic palate. Coffee, balsamic, peppery, black plum, vanilla, savoury, tobacco, leather and prune flavours with a balsamic note. A bit chunky and rustic but solid effort in a cool year.
